　　On the morning of July 18, Jizhou District held a signing and unveiling ceremony for the Henan University of Science and Technology, Jiangxi Hongye Copper Foil Co., Ltd. Industry-University-Research Cooperation Base and the 5G Electronic Copper Foil Engineering Technology Research Center.

 

 

　　In order to further promote product technology research and development, especially in response to the national "new infrastructure" policy, vigorously develop 5G electronic copper foil technology, contribute to the national 5G construction, and promote the high-quality development of enterprises, with the help of Jizhou District Committee and District Government, Jiangxi Hongye Copper Foil Co., Ltd. and Henan University of Science and Technology recently reached a cooperation agreement to conduct a five-year project cooperation on the research topic of VLP low-profile copper foil preparation for high-frequency high-speed copper-clad laminates (5G), and established the Henan University of Science and Technology Industry-University-Research Cooperation Base and the 5G Electronic Copper Foil Engineering Technology Research Center in Jiangxi Hongye Copper Foil Co., Ltd. This is the first industry-university-research cooperation project in the electronic information industry field in Ji'an City after the resumption of work and production following the epidemic.

　　Song Kexing, Ph.D., Professor of the Second Grade, Doctoral Supervisor, expert with special government allowance from the State Council, Central Plains Scholar, outstanding professional and technical talent in Henan Province, senior visiting scholar at the University of Michigan, USA, and vice chairman of the Copper Alloy Processing Academic Committee of the China Nonferrous Metals Society.

　　He is currently the vice president of Henan University of Science and Technology and the dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and the person in charge of the provincial and ministerial co-construction collaborative innovation center for nonferrous metal new materials and advanced processing technology. He has long been engaged in the basic theoretical research and technological development of high-performance copper alloys and advanced preparation and processing technologies. He has won 2 second-class national science and technology progress awards and 3 first-class provincial and ministerial awards. Among them, the project "Development and application of key preparation and processing technologies for high-strength and high-conductivity copper alloys" he presided over won the second-class national science and technology progress award in 2017. He has undertaken 21 national and provincial and ministerial projects, including national key research and development plans, national natural science foundation projects, and Henan Provincial Innovation Leading Projects. He has published 6 monographs and authorized 32 invention patents. The high-level R&D team he leads has 6 core members, all of whom are doctors. Currently, the team has 4 national-level projects under research, with strong R&D capabilities, a reasonable age structure, and strong sustainable development capabilities.
